It is incredible to witness your friend not only grow into a woman, but also see her musical talent mature. Even though we have played together for over 22 years, I am still amazed by the musical colours Iliana brings out of the pieces we play. I am thankful every time we get to make music together.
Es ist unglaublich, mitzuerleben, wie aus einer Freundin nicht nur eine Frau wird, sondern wie auch ihr musikalisches Talent reift. Obwohl wir schon seit über 22 Jahren zusammen spielen, bin ich immer noch erstaunt über die musikalischen Farben, die Iliana aus den Stücken herausholt, die wir spielen. Ich bin jedes Mal dankbar, wenn wir zusammen Musik machen können.

I admire the performer that Ellina is. She is an incredible pedagogue and her interpretation of the pieces we play is truly what brings out the magic in our music. When we play together, it really feels like we’re breathing at the same pace and our heartbeats align.
